Red Ribbon Week Starts Monday, October 26

Monday (26th)
Red Shirt Day!  To kick off Red Ribbon Week (RRW), students will wear red shirts to school.  Their teacher will provide them with a RRW pencil to use the entire week!  Each student will repeat the drug free pledge during morning announcements, and use their RRW pencil to sign their pledge cards.  Pledge cards will be taped to their desks for the remainder of the week.

Tuesday (27th)
Shade Out Drugs!  Students will wear black shirts and shades to school.  Students will receive a red ribbon to put on their shirts for the day.

Wednesday (28th)
Hat Day!  Students will wear hats to symbolize putting a cap on drugs.

Thursday (29th)
Wild and Crazy Socks Day!  Students will wear wild and crazy socks to symbolize the effects drugs can have on the body.

Friday (30th)
Our annual Character Day Parade will start at 12:00pm.  Students must be dressed as a story book character to participate in the Character Day Parade.  Students should bring the book that reflects their character to school to display during the parade.  After the parade, all students will participate in our first ever Mc-Lend-O-Treat event!

Ms. Mazyck is still collecting candy for our candy drive!  The goal is for every student to receive one piece of candy from every homeroom teacher.  Your contributions are welcomed and greatly appreciated!  Please remember that candy should not contain any sort of nuts or peanut butter.  Thanks for your continued support!
